Kinesiology uses muscle testing to get the energetic feedback from the body and assesses any energy stagnations. Any blocks in energy flow can be linked to emotional or physical traumas, dietary issues, diseases.
An example: when I test Pectoralis Major Clavicular muscle in the arm, I know it belongs to the Stomach meridian. If the muscle tests weak, there is an imbalance. It could be a digestive issue but also proverbial “butterflies in stomach” due to prolonged stress and worry. Kinesiology allows me to find the root of the problem and fix it.
The great thing about kinesiology is that there is no guessing. The body will give the answer if the issue is of structural, nutritional, emotional nature. Very often health problems are interlinked and solving one problem will immensely help with other health issues, e.g. treating large intestine may help with lower back pain and/or shoulder pain.
I go to a kinesiologist for a health MOT every 3 – 4 months, even if I don’t have any health problems. A check-up helps to assess where I have deficiencies and imbalances. A follow-up with proper supplements helps me to keep my health and go strong in the gym. Once I was told that I had a blood sugar imbalance and muscle testing indicated that I was chromium deficient. After taking chromium for two weeks, I noticed I stopped craving for sweets and cakes, what was always my weakness. It turned out I don’t have a sweet tooth, I was just chromium deficient ;)
In every session I will cross check nutritional support and Bach flower remedies. If they are relevant and will support the healing process, I will ask a client to purchase them and take for about one month.
The principal aim of Chinese medicine is to treat the whole person and recover the equilibrium between the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual.
